Team Underwires, Proud To Wear Pink!TM invite you to join us on August 14, 2010 as we revv our motors up to raise funds for the CGH Health Foundations’ Women’s Breast Cancer prevention program and Home of Hope Cancer Wellness Centers. Two wheels or four...all are welcome to travel the 85-90 mile route through the countryside. Bikers, mailboxes and roadside turns will be decorated in pink as our communities pull together to bring awareness to breast cancer. At the final stop supporters will enjoy a chicken dinner, live music, raffle items and a “Proud to Wear Pink”TM contest.
Join the journey this season by supporting these stops each month:
May 30th – Selling raffle tickets and promotional items at Poopy’s—Savanna, IL
June 19th –5K Run/Walk at Sauk Valley Community College, Dixon, IL (9 am start)(7:30am Registration) CLICK HERE FOR RACE RESULTS
June 26th – Selling raffle tickets and promotional items at Poopy’s in Savanna IL
June 30th – Ice Cream Social in Central Park, Sterling, IL (6pm)
July 10th – Pink Alley Rally, hosted by Champ’s and Depot. 4 live bands, food, raffle items, admission $5. located in parking lot directly behind Depot and Champ’s in Sterling, IL. (3pm to 11pm)
July 17th – Teens of Team UnderwiresTM flipping burgers and dogs at Schreiner’s in Rock Falls, IL
August 14th – Proud To Wear Pink!TM Ride
The ride will begin at Workman Harley-Davidson, Inc., Rock Falls, IL with registration from 10 a.m. to noon. Riders will return by 4 p.m. to Deer Valley Golf Club in Deer Grove, IL, for 50/50 raffles, contests, entertainment, food, refreshments and the big drawing for our raffle.
First place is a 2009 Harley-Davidson XL883L Sportster donated in part by Workman Harley Davidson, Inc., Custom paint provided by OK Collision, custom seat by Custom Auto Interior & Cycle Seats and engraved gas cap by Classic Engraving.
Second Place is 2008 Polaris Phoenix 200 Quad donated by Douglas & Frye Motorsports. Custom Seat by Custom Auto Interior & Cycle Seats.
Third Place is $1500 CASH donated by Wiersema Trucking.
(Winner responsible for all taxes and fees. Need not be present to win)
October 8th– Leather n Lace, at Deer Valley Golf Club cocktails at 6 pm This is an in- formal evening. Dinner, dessert, auction, dance and check presentation to our charities.

Team Underwires, Proud to Wear Pink!TM a non profit 501 © 3 organization was founded in 2008. What began as a “small motorcycle ride” has evolved in to a major fundraising event. Team UnderwiresTM efforts help organizations that support uninsured or underinsured breast cancer patients in the counties of Whiteside, Lee, Carroll, Ogle and Bureau in Illinois. Fund raising events are held throughout the year, building up to our main event, Proud To Wear Pink!TM motorcycle ride on August 14, 2010.
